There is the zone of forests, then you reach the zone of meadows and then there is the zone of ice and snow. Here there is very little animal or plant life. This is where glaciers are formed. Cracks in glaciers are called crevasses. A moraine is made by glaciers depositing or setting down stones & gravel along the melting edges. Zone of Meadows- flowers, trees, lakes, all kinds of animals. Zone of Forrest- spring comes early here: deer, ferns, lichens and has cool summers and mild winters
